The DGT modifies the regulations and eliminates the obligation of emergency triangles on motorways and highways
The announcement made by the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) has caused a great stir: from July 1, 2023, the use of emergency triangles on motorways and highways in Spain will no longer be mandatory, except in certain circumstances. This measure aims to avoid the risks associated with getting out of the vehicle in the middle of a high-speed road to place the triangles.
