In March 2023, 2.567 truck registrations were recorded, 29,7% more than in the same month of 2022. The largest increases were among trucks weighing 3,5 to 6 tonnes (+109,3%) and heavy commercial vehicles weighing more than 16 tonnes (+24,9%). In total, 6.976 trucks were sold in the first quarter of 2023, 16,8% more than in the same period of the previous year.
Buses experience spectacular growth of 70,7%
Buses have also seen a significant growth of 75,3% in March, thanks to the good outlook for the Easter holidays. In the first quarter, growth has been 66,7% thanks to the 812 units sold.

Overall, the commercial vehicle market recorded 3.021 registrations in March 2023, 34,6% more than in the same month of the previous year, and 7.946 units sold in the first quarter, 21,2% more than in the same period of 2022.
As for the passenger car and SUV market, it has also registered a growth of 44,5% in the first quarter of 2023, with a total of 237.563 units sold. In March, 99.524 units were sold, 66,1% more than in the same month of the previous year. This growth is mainly due to the improvement in the production logistics chain and the release of a large number of accumulated orders, mainly for the rental channel and companies.
