Continuous Improvement in Data Quality
In the latest assessment of the TecDoc Catalogue parts manufacturers, carried out in May 2024, 32% of the brands received the certificate “TecDoc Premier Data Supplier” (PDS). This guarantees the highest level of satisfaction in terms of data quality.
Since 2021, TecDoc has been working closely with parts manufacturers to improve the data quality of the TecDoc Catalogue. "Thanks to more stringent evaluation criteria and validations, TecDoc has systematically improved the accuracy and standardization of product information. These continuous improvements and the pursuit of the highest data quality enable the precise identification of the right replacement parts for a vehicle," they explain.
Premier Data Supplier Certification
In the assessment carried out in May 2024, 358 brands were awarded the “Premier Data Supplier” quality certificate, which is an improvement compared to previous assessments. 84% of the brands in the TecDoc Catalogue meet the criteria of “Certified Data Supplier” or “Premier Data Supplier”, which guarantee a very good or excellent level of providing product information and complying with the internationally recognised TecDoc standard.

Data Quality Management (DQM)
TecDoc's demanding data quality management (DQM) includes monthly reporting indicators for data providers that help them to continuously improve their data offering. The upcoming introduction of new performance indicators (KPIs) in 2024 is intended to further improve the quality and reliability of the data in the TecDoc Catalogue.
Ratings and Future Improvements

The response from the latest TecDoc Data User Group Meetings has shown that these efforts are highly valued. In addition to the evaluation of supplier data according to clearly defined KPIs, continuous communication with suppliers and data users on all aspects of data quality in the TecDoc Catalogue is also of great importance. National and international TecDoc expert groups and regular data user meetings fulfil this task.
