Lecitrailer leads the trailer and semi-trailer market in 2024 with more than 3.700 units

The trailer and semi-trailer market in Spain closed 2024 with a growth of 6,33%, reaching 15.009 registrations. According to ASFARES data, national production represents 76,6% of the market, highlighting the role of Spanish manufacturers in a sector that continues to gain ground in Europe.

With 15.009 units registered in 2024, the market reached its second best record in the last 16 years, only surpassed by 2016. Specialized trailers and semi-trailers have been the main drivers of growth, while general cargo vehicles have registered slight declines.

Lecitrailer closes 2024 as the leading manufacturer of trailers and semi-trailers, with 3.722 registered units and a 24,8% share. It is followed by Schmitz Cargo Bull (3.511 units, 23,39%) and Krone (1.080 units, 7,2%). Between the three manufacturers, they account for 55,39% of the market.
