May boosts truck market with 14,2% growth

The month of May has seen a notable upturn in truck registrations in Spain, with more than 2.500 units registered and an increase of 14,2% compared to the same month last year. In cumulative terms, growth is even more notable, reaching 21,2% so far this year. This dynamism in the market reflects the robustness and recovery of the sector, with manufacturers such as Iveco, Renault and Mercedes-Benz leading the sales for the month.

Outstanding performance of manufacturers

The Iveco S-Way has managed to position itself as the best-selling model in May, with 309 registrations, followed by the Renault Gama T with 262 units and the Mercedes Actros with 246 units, rounding out the podium. Volvo, traditionally a strong competitor, was in fourth position with its FH model, registering 227 units.

In the year-to-date, the Mercedes Actros maintains its absolute leadership with 1.707 units sold, closely followed by the Iveco S-Way (1.538) and the Volvo FH (1.319). These figures demonstrate the preference of buyers for models that combine efficiency, durability and advanced technology.
