Ontime Launches a Campaign to Collect Aid for Those Affected by DANA Throughout Spain

In response to the devastation caused by the DANA in several regions of Spain, the logistics company Ontime has launched a nationwide solidarity initiative to collect essential products. With the support of the Leganés Sports Club and the Leganés City Council, Ontime has already begun sending trucks loaded with essential supplies to the most affected areas.

What is the Ontime Aid Initiative?

Ontime has set up a network of collection centres throughout Spain, inviting citizens to collaborate by donating essential items. The collection of products will officially begin next Monday, and all supplies will be centralised at the company's headquarters in Madrid for subsequent distribution.

Products Requested for Donations

The relief campaign focuses on collecting products that will be crucial for people affected by DANA. Among the requested items are:

  • Nonperishable food.
  • Personal hygiene products.
  • Diapers and baby items.
  • Warm clothing and blankets.

These products are needed to provide immediate relief to those who have lost property and homes in areas impacted by heavy rains.

Collaboration with the Leganés Sports Club and the Leganés City Council

Collaboration with the Leganés Sports Club and the Leganés City Council has been key to coordinating logistics and ensuring that donations reach those affected as quickly as possible. Since November 1, Ontime has mobilized several trailers to bring aid directly to the affected areas, demonstrating its commitment to solidarity and support for communities in critical times.

Ontime Statements on its Commitment to Solidarity

Carlos Moreno, CEO of Ontime, has underlined the company's commitment to solidarity aid: “Solidarity and commitment are part of Ontime's DNA. In difficult times like these, we come together to offer our support and facilitate a support network that makes a difference in the lives of those who are going through difficult situations.” These words reflect the spirit of the initiative and Ontime's desire to actively contribute to the recovery of the affected communities.

How to Participate in the Ontime Aid Campaign

For those interested in collaborating, Ontime has set up collection centres at all of its operating points in Spain. Donations will be accepted starting next Monday, and any citizen can contribute with basic necessities at any of the company's centres. With this initiative, Ontime reaffirms its social commitment and its active role in humanitarian aid.
