As We anticipate in the first quarter of 2023, Truck sales continue to rise so far this year. We have compiled a list of the 10 most popular models in 2023 in terms of number of units sold. Between January and June, a total of 13.358 units were registered, representing an impressive increase of 17,1% compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, these figures exceed those reported in the first half of 2019, showing a promising situation in the sector.

The star model, once again, is the Volvo FH from the renowned Volvo brand, which has managed to crown itself as the best-selling truck in the first half of the year with an impressive total of 1.556 units sold. However, it is not alone at the top, as the best-seller Iveco S-Way follows closely with 1.543 registrations, consolidating its second position. It is worth mentioning that the Mercedes Actros It also stands out on the podium, occupying third position with 1.183 registrations.

From fourth place onwards, the gap between models narrows significantly. Other popular trucks in this area include the MAN TGX with 1.114 units sold, followed by the DAF FT with 1.107 registrations. The Renault T-Series is in sixth place with 1.042 registrations, while the Scania R-Series follows closely behind with 915 units sold.

The ranking continues, and in the next step we find the Iveco Euro Cargo ML with 595 units sold, followed by the Renault Gama D with 566 registrations and the Iveco Daily with 561 units.

All in all, the first half of 2023 has been a prosperous time for truck sales, with the big brands delivering more than reasonable sales figures. With the Volvo FH leading the way and popular models such as the Iveco S-Way and Mercedes Actros hot on its heels, the truck market looks promising for the rest of the year.
