Thanks to NB-IoT connectivity provided by Vodafone, the Hero Driver beacon automatically sends the vehicle's location to the DGT (Directorate-General for Traffic) in the event of an emergency, facilitating faster assistance and improving the safety of the driver and other road users. This connectivity is included. without additional costs until 2040, with optimized coverage for the entire national territory.
Advanced technology at the service of security
The Hero Driver LED incorporates the latest technological advances in light signaling and connectivity. Its design meets all DGT approval requirements, including high 360° visibility, regulated light intensity, resistance to adverse weather conditions, and immediate activation.
Once positioned on the vehicle, its connected system allows a geolocated alert to be sent to the DGT 3.0 cloud, alerting other drivers and emergency services in real time.
