Ryme Automotive, a Burgos company specializing in spare parts for industrial vehicles and safety lighting systems, has been recognized as finalist in the FAE Innovation Awards 2025 for the development of its connected beacon Hero Driver LED V16, a device that will mark a before and after in road safety.
The Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos (FAE) and the Caja de Burgos Foundation have valued the company's capacity to anticipate the market, developing a product certified by the DGT that incorporates Vodafone NB-IoT connectivity included until 2040Thanks to this technology, the beacon automatically sends the vehicle's geolocation to the DGT 3.0 platform, allowing real-time alerts to be sent to traffic management systems and navigation applications.
This recognition is part of an edition in which the following have been presented: 22 innovative projects from SMEs and micro-SMEs in Burgos, highlighting Ryme Automotive as one of the two special mentions along with Esvisa Foods.
Recognition of Burgos' business talent
In this edition, the FAE Innovation Awards 2025 have distinguished the following as winners:
- LFB Refrac, SA (Lenox) in the medium-sized company category, for its system Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Bjäland Technologies, SL, in the small business category, for the implementation of its model Tech for Equity.
- Theseus Audiovisual Productions, SL, in the micro-enterprise category, for its innovative virtual recording studio.
The awards will be presented next October 9 at the Nexo building, headquarters of the Caja de Burgos Foundation, in an event that will bring together representatives of the business and innovation community in the province.
