Scania consolidates a comprehensive proposal for the electrification of heavy transport by 2025

2025 has marked a turning point for Scania in its roadmap towards more sustainable transport. The brand has presented a complete electromobility ecosystem, designed to offer a real, operational and profitable solution to heavy transport, combining high-performance electric vehicles, a modular battery platform and a portfolio of services aimed at facilitating the energy transition of carriers.
Scania's approach goes beyond the vehicle, integrating technology, infrastructure, planning and customer support to ensure viable electrification in daily operations.
Scania electric trucks for long distance
The new BEV range (battery electric vehicles) Scania's fleet covers regional and long-haul applications, with configurations rigid and tractor units, available with R and S cabins.

Scania also leads the development of the megacharge (MCS), with the implementation of high-power charging corridors in EuropeThe brand plans to launch 1.700 charging points by 2027, a key step towards making the electrification of long-distance heavy transport viable.
