The long-awaited Tesla Cybertruck, unveiled in 2019, has finally rolled off the production line in Texas, Techcrunch reports. After years of anticipation, Elon Musk's firm appears to be fulfilling its latest prediction and will begin mass production of the Cybertruck this summer.

Tesla founder Elon Musk said at the annual shareholder meeting in May 2023 that the automaker would be able to deliver between 250,000 and 500,000 units per year once production begins. Although it has only just begun, production is expected to accelerate towards the end of this year, which would allow the first units to begin being delivered to eager customers.

The wait is over! The Tesla Cybertruck will go into mass production this summer.

It has not been an easy road for Tesla and Elon Musk. The manufacturing of the Tesla Cybertruck faced several obstacles, especially due to the complexity in manufacturing the chassis components. In addition, the Coronavirus pandemic also affected the supply chain and forced the company to adapt its planning.

Despite the challenges, reservations for the Tesla Cybertruck have been astounding, reaching 1.5 million as of November 2022 (reservation was $100). This indicates a huge interest from consumers and considerable demand for the electric vehicle.

As for pricing, it's not yet fully confirmed, but it's estimated to range from $39,900 for the single-motor, rear-wheel-drive model with a 400-kilometer range, up to $70,000 for the all-wheel-drive model with a 800-kilometer range.

If you've always wanted to own a Tesla Cybertruck, this summer could be the time to make it a reality. All that's left to do is wait for confirmation of the final price before it goes on sale. Stay tuned for more news about this exciting launch and get ready to enjoy the electric car revolution with the Tesla Cybertruck.
